Description

This 2-hour class focuses on home weatherization and home energy performance. Taught by seasoned energy auditor Mark McGough, the class will walk through areas of the home that are common sources of heat loss and how to address these issues through sealing and insulation techniques. Students will also learn about the value of a home energy audit. Mark will walk through the phases of an audit and discuss key findings, including areas for greatest energy improvement and money savings. Finally, participants will understand the concept of a house as a system, learning to recognize how one improvement may impact another area of the house.
